		These pans are typical of the high standard we expect from German engineering. Each pan is hand-cast from heavy gauge aluminium, which gives fast and even heat distribution and excellent energy efficiency. The non-stick surface gives a fantastic performance. It is a titanium-based non-stick, which is 40 times harder than stainless steel, so that you can use steel utensils without any problem. It is unlike any other in terms of scratch resistance and durabilty. The pans have a special thermocore base and can be used on all cookers including gas, radiant ring, solid hotplates, ceramic and halogen hobs, as well as Aga style ranges. The thickness of the base prevents warping and improves heat distribution, so that the pans can be used equally for the vigorous boiling when reducing a liquid or the gentlest simmering.   The pans also have removable handles. These are highly practical and they are heat resistant to a higher than usual temperature. This means that they can be used in an oven or under the grill up to 260ºC (500ºF). This enables you to prepare those recipes which require starting in a frypan and finishing in an oven. The Saucepans are all deep and the traditionally tapered shape also helps prevent boiling over. The SKK range of heat resistant lids are available to fit these saucepans. This Saucepan measures 16cm diameter x 11cm deep with a 1.5litre capacity. The combination of superb non-stick properties and excellent heat distribution make SKK pans ideal for healthy, low fat cooking.
